Our new Cat!

We have a new member of the family this week. Jess the cat! We have been looking for just the right cat for a while. We finally found her at a cat rescue in Doveholes. She is 5 and a half years old. She belonged to an elderly lady who has had to go into a home and can't take her cat with her. She is very friendly and calm and a wonderful addition to the household.

Pickett Hill is coming on nicely - rather slowly though as I am enjoying spending time with Elliot my 6 year old whilst he is on school holiday. I have put the plexiglass in the windows and have varnished all the paintwork with a matt varnish. There was little point in photographing this stage as it doesn't really look much different from the previous photos!
