Wool Rainbow and Ducks Growing Fast!

I seem to have been so busy recently blogging has taken a bit of a back seat. So when I came home from the wool shop with my treasures I thought I really should share the rainbow on my blog. Where better to photograph my woolly rainbow than in my little garden where the roses are just divine.

These yummy colours are eventually going to be a round stripey cushion.

I am working on so many yarn projects at the moment I really must take some photos. There is also lots of wonderful mini'ing happening that I also need to photograph. I think because I have had rather a lot of typing work recently when I get my free time I want to spend it creating not typing so as I said the blogging has fallen behind somewhat.

My family have had the wonderful gift of a years membership to the National Trust so we have been having a ball going round lots of wonderful properties. I will share the photos soon.

The Indian Runner ducks are growing so fast it is impossible to keep up with them. So here are a few snap shots of their journey into featherhood!

You've just got to love that shape.

Swimming in the pond.

Beautiful feather colours coming through.

Hopefully I will get chance to sort through my pics and projects soon and show you some of the fun that I have been having!

Those yarns are fabby! I can't wait to see this circular cushion - is it going to be knitted or crocheted?

The quackers are looking really cute!! Are they ready for their training yet?

Beautiful colours in the yarns, enjoy making your cushion. Looking forward to seeing the minis soon too - I've missed seeing new posts on your blogs so it's good to 'hear' from you again.

Joey - The cushion is going to be knitted. The lady that helps me at knitting club and craft club brought an old pattern in to show me and I just fell in love with it. As they say the old ones are the best! Ria and I are hoping to start training the ducks soon!

Sandra - Lovely to hear from you too I promise I will get some pics up soon
