This morning we went for a wander around Magpie Mine, an old lead mine which stands not far South from the village of Sheldon in Derbyshire. It is a wonderful place that all three of us like to go to. Not far to walk and yet lots of interesting things for Elliot to scramble on. As well as lots of broken down bits of the old mine there are fields full of lovely flowers and interesting trees. Here are a few snapshots from our morning out.
